On May 12th Wheathampstead will be holding it's first ever Recycling Wander.
The aim of the event is to promote sustainability by giving away or charging a small fee for preloved, second hand items and clothes that would otherwise go to landfill. We have more than 20 households or roads taking part and hosting stalls on their driveways and pavements. There is still time to sign up for your own stall by emailing Anne Howie. If you prefer to just browse other people's stalls then you can download a copy to the Recycling Wander map HERE or come to the Parish Council office during our opening times to collect a hard copy.

Marford Memorial Hall will also be open on that day. Inside will be more stalls, rails of free clothes, an electrical repair station, plus a fairtrade café serving delicious cakes and hot drinks.

You can hear Cllr Anne Howie speaking to Mix92.6 radio about the event HERE
If you have a small electrical item you would like Alan to look at, please email anne.howie@wheathampstead-pc.gov.uk to book in a time slot.
